North America will see another major tradeshow in 2025. Labelexpo Mexico, the newest edition in the Labelexpo Global Series, returns next year. The label industry will head to Guadalajara, Mexico, from April 1-3, where the newest machinery, supplies, and services will be on display.

The upcoming event will serve as a sequel to the successful 2023 version, which was hailed as a great success. The inaugural Labelexpo Mexico was held at the World Trade Center in Mexico City and attracted 5,878 visitors from 46 countries and 145 exhibitors. While 80% of visitors emanated from Mexico, there were strong numbers from the United States, China, Columbia, Brazil, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, and Argentina.

According to Tasha Ventimiglia, Labelexpo Americas group director, the 2025 version will be new and improved compared to the first event. “Labelexpo Mexico 2025 will have more machinery than Labelexpo Mexico 2023, therefore what we will have for the 2025 edition will be more interactive, especially as we will have a new venue that will accommodate a bigger event,” she says.

According to Mordor Intelligence, the Mexico Print Label Market size has been estimated at USD 1.26 billion in 2024, and it is expected to reach USD 1.55 billion by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 4.24% during the forecast period (2024-2029). “The industry is growing at a rapid rate, creating a perfect opportunity for label and package printing converters to do business in the country,” notes Ventimiglia. “RFID, flexible packaging and sustainability continue to be huge topics in Mexico, and you will see those technologies and topics displayed throughout our show floor.”

In 2023, a wide range of suppliers attended Labelexpo Mexico to showcase their newest products. The show featured a wide range of machinery, with Nilpeter demonstrating its FA-17 press printing shrink sleeves, and digital presses on display from Mark Andy, Epson, Konica Minolta, Durst, and Pulisi. Plus, the event will allow visitors to learn more about global label trends and technologies. Building on the momentum of Labelexpo Americas, Labelexpo Mexico will highlight the latest in automation, RFID labeling, digital printing, sustainability, and more.

Visitors can expect another bustling show. For those in the Latin American market, as well as attendees who could not visit Labelexpo Americas, the show serves as the perfect opportunity to learn about the newest technologies in the marketplace.

“You will be able to see a wider range of digital and finishing equipment, material advancements, software, prepress, dies and tooling and more,” explains Ventimiglia. “For example, Nilpeter has announced that they will be showcasing their new FB-Line. This cutting-edge press is available in both 14″ and 17″ models, following its launch earlier this year. Labelexpo Mexico 2025 is almost double in size from our first Labelexpo Mexico event in 2023 and exhibitor booths are almost completely sold out. We are excited to bring the event to Guadalajara.”
